Welcome! This year's 32nd Annual Wild Hog Canoe & Kayak Race will start on April 25, 2009. We have already heard from a few of you who want to try your luck paddling down the Waccasassa River. We had a great turnout this pastlast Aprilyear with some really nice prizes.
We expect to make some minor changes this year. ReadPlease read the Brochure and Rulescarefully for all therule changes that have occurred.occurred, as well as age allowance and class changes.
We hope everyone enjoyed the "I Survived..." photo shoot at the last race. We didn't do too bad last year, but we expect to raise even more money for LARC this year by getting more boaters involved in the race and also the photo shoot and hope to increase our sponsorship.sponsorships. By sponsoring the race, you will receive a Wild Hog Tee Shirt with your sponsor name on it, providing you get your sponsor fee in before April 15, a replica paddle with the date and logo, andPLUS-- you can put either a canoe (2 people) or a kayak into the race for free. Such a deal!
