The Ladies Auxiliary #88 recently published a cookbook titled "In the Kitchen Without a Paddle" with some wonderful recipes handed down from generation to generation and some recipes you may have always wanted to try. We are very proud of our accomplishment and hope that you will want to add one to your kitchen bookshelf. It is a nice ring binder, washable cover and has over 200 recipes. It includes a table of contents, and an index where you can search for your favorite recipe under a specific heading. There are also tabbed dividers to help separate the different sections. All this for only $12.00 per book. (See photo cover below).

To purchase a cookbook, you can call the AMVETS Post at 352-486-6844 between 12 noon and 7:00 p.m. or stop by our new Post at 10050 N.E. S.R. 24 next to the Bronson Speedway. We will be setting up on a corner in Bronson, Williston and Chiefland and possibly other areas on weekends leading up to the Wild Hog Race. Look for an ad in the local papers. A portion of the sale of the cookbook will go to LARC in Otter Creek. It would certainly make a great birthday, Mother's Day, wedding or even graduation gift--just a few suggestions.
